Martin B26 "Marauder" ser # 40-1418 of 33 BS 22BG 5 USAAF.

This aircraft in which Squadron Leader Charles R.Gurney RAAF was the co-pilot crashed in a swampy area with the gear down and went over on the nose killing both Gurney and the pilot a 1st Lt Herron.The rest of the crew got out.

2nd May 1942.
