b j bennett Junior Member Registered: July 2008	Aerial recon' photograph of kavieng aerodrome after considerable development by the JNAF in WW2. Few if any relics of the many japanese aircraft destroyed on this base are to be seen. Most war surplus material is and around the Kavieng precinct was salvaged and scrapped by Mr Harry Croydon in the immediate post war years. In the late 70's the author located the tail wheel group of a G4m1 "betty", near the then DCA compound.
